Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU)

In Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, southwest Nigeria, Ekiti State University is another tertiary institution that is owned and run by the government. With an estimated student population of over 50,000 and growing, it is one of the most sought-after institutions in Southwestern Nigeria.

Adamawa State University, Mubi (ADSU)

However, the next military governor of the state changed the university’s name to Ondo State University in 1985.

Adekunle Ajasin University was given its current name in 2004 in memory of the late Adekule Ajadsin, a former governor of the state where it is located (Ondo state).

Kwara State University (KWASU)

Nassarawa State University

Akwa Ibom State University of Technology, Uyo
