In accordance with the complete range of our consular services, the chosen candidate would be expected to offer excellent support to British nationals in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. Included in this are activities for public awareness and communication as well as aid to British nationals and crisis response.
- As per the present regulations, provide consular services, such as paying visits to British citizens who are incarcerated or in hospitals, offering support after a death, dealing with child custody disputes, sexual assault cases, and instances involving mental health difficulties.
- Keep tight contact with local authorities in a range of fields, such as tourism, security, medicine, and disaster management, among others, by going on business trips and engaging with them frequently.
