Job Responsibilities

• As a personal caregiver, you give your clients in the neighborhood sympathetic care that is of the highest caliber.
• Whenever necessary, offer specialized, client-specific support in addition to conventional care services and assistance with basic and instrumental activities of daily living (ADL/IADLs). Examples include offering one-on-one care to clients in their homes or communities in the areas of personal companionship, meal preparation, housework, personal care, medication reminders, respite care, dementia care, hospital discharge, and palliative care.

Job Qualifications

• EITHER possess a trustworthy mode of transportation (such as a bus or train) OR own a trustworthy vehicle for commuting and a valid driver’s license.
• It is necessary to have a clean Police Vulnerable Sector Screening Check.
• An asset is having completed a formal, recognized caregiver training program or having equivalent education and experience.
• Must have had a combination of COVID-19 vaccines authorized by Health Canada, or the entire series of COVID-19 vaccines.
