Housekeepers in Switzerland Job Summary

Our Guest Environment Experts are in charge of preserving the appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel and are skilled in a variety of housekeeping tasks. They have the freedom to walk around their area and take care of whatever needs to be done.

The Guest Environment Expert ensures that the hotel’s spaces contribute to a wonderful guest experience, whether that means fulfilling guest requests, refilling carts, cleaning rooms and common areas, or performing other duties of a similar nature.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gives consumers great customer service by paying close attention to each individual.
  • Cleans, mops, sweeps, and shines floors.
  • Vacuums drapes, carpets, and rugs.
  • Shampoos rugs, carpets, and furniture.
  • Dust and shines the fixtures and furniture.
  • Metal fittings and fixtures are cleaned.
  • Trash cans are cleaned and emptied.

  • Sanitizes the trash disposal process.
  • Cleans showers, tubs, mirrors, and washbasins.

Job Qualifications

  • At the start and end of each shift, walk all allocated floors; remove newspapers and service trays; remove garbage and/or linens, and make a note of any places that require quick cleaning.
  • Clean all public spaces as directed while adhering to safety and security protocols, including but not limited to: stairwells, elevators, service areas, and hallways.
  • Take dirty terry, linen, and rubbish away from the service areas and dispose of them in the designated places.
  • Report any lost or found items, product damage, or other issues to the senior housekeeper.
  • Get the Senior Housekeeper’s assigned section, the keys, the supplies, and any urgent needs.
  • To ensure guest satisfaction, courteously respond to requests and inquiries from guests, address their concerns, and report any problems they may have.
