The Nigerian Army admits to the claim that the Army went to Lekki Toll Gate with Live Bullets
In a Cross Examination by a SAN (Senior Advocate of Nigeria), Olumide Fusika, the commander of the 81 division of the Nigerian Army, Ibrahim Taiwo has confirmed that the Nigeria Army went to the Protest Ground at Lekki Toll Gate with Live bullets while he faced the Lagos judicial panel on Saturday November 21.
He explained that the live bullets were for the army team’s protection.
He furthered that the soldiers that fired shots only fired blanks
Taiwo also stated those with live rounds were only there to protect others from unforseen troubles.
