By acting as the initial point of contact for guests and callers to the department or facility, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the reception function. Your ability to carry out ordinary office duties to speed department work completion is crucial to assisting us in fulfilling our objective.

- Swiftly returns departmental calls while taking thorough and precise messages.
- Answers common questions or directs visitors or callers to the proper staff personnel.
- The upkeep of a conference room’s schedule. occasionally orders food and updates menus for meetings.
- Distributes standard items, such as applications, forms, brochures, and/or other information about the department or organization, to visitors via mail or fax. receives, organizes, and distributes parcels, faxes, and mail.
- Starts the process of filling out the necessary documentation for the member’s visit. processing documents as necessary.

- Members should receive and return completed forms.
- Obtains contributions from members, completes receipts and correctly posts transactions.
- Obtaining, comparing, and depositing the change fund.
- Organizes appointments in accordance with established practice in response to requests from members and providers.
- Delivers relevant pre-appointment instructions and informs members of the appointment date(s).
- Takes messages or forwards calls as necessary after receiving and screening incoming calls.

- Preferably with a current BLS certification.
- Within six months of employment, demonstrates a working understanding of the various types of health plan coverage, such as (but not limited to) traditional and deductible plans.
