Job Responsibilities

- Maintains the landscape by cutting, trimming, weeding, watering, planting, pruning, and controlling weeds.
- Uses automobiles, landscaping tools, power tools, and a variety of hand tools to carry out job duties. interacts with the public to respond to inquiries and spread knowledge about plants and gardens.

- Keeps track of tasks, vehicle inspection sheets, daily check-out sheets, service logs, and other work documents. generates records by entering information and using computer software.
- Plant identification and labeling.
- Maintenance and management of irrigation systems.

Job Qualifications
- Two years of experience in plant maintenance, landscaping, and operating landscaping equipment, plus a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license that complies with the requirements of Five Rivers MetroParks’ insurance provider.
- Within two years, an Ohio Pesticide Applicators License was obtained.
