- US President-Elect, Joe Biden Gets a “Get Well Soon” Message from Donald Trump
Biden has reportedly suffered a fracture on Saturday as he slipped while playing with one of his dogs, Major.
Biden’s Personal Physician, Kevin O’Connor said after a X-ray scan that the X-ray scan didn’t uncover any obvious fracture and he added that a CT Scan will be carried out.
The CT Scan however “confirmed hairline (small) fractures… in the mid-foot,” as O’Connor said in a subsequent statement.
He furthered that Biden “will likely require a walking boot for several weeks”.
Trump took twitter to wish the President-elect well as he tweeted “Get Well Soon” in the retweet of a video of Biden leaving an orthopedic office.
